Jump into a 1930s flying classic and experience the start of a WWII fighter pilot’s journey high above the English countryside, and take home a memento of your amazing flight with this 60 minute Tiger Moth Trial Lesson with Souvenir DVD. The de Havilland Tiger Moth was the ideal training aircraft for budding RAF pilots, forgiving in the early stages of flight while requiring skill and concentration to get the most out of the vehicle. As you’ll be sitting in an open cockpit you’ll feel the wind through your hair as you cruise at altitude, and you’ll be thankful the Tiger Moth can ‘only’ go 109mph at top speed! You’ll be fully kitted out to keep you from being too cold, and your WWII-style parachute will help you get into the fighter pilot mindset. An expert pilot will take you through the manoeuvres necessary to navigate the air above Ashford or Northampton, and you’ll even be able to take the controls yourself for a bit of hands-on flight time too. Whether you’re graceful or all over the place, your flight will be captured forever on a DVD for you to take home, the perfect reminder of an amazing trip to the skies.
