Take a trip to the rustic wilds of West Yorkshire for a wander through the outdoor sets of Emmerdale, and see some famous spots like Bob’s Café, the Woolpack and more with a fellow TV-farming fan by your side with this Emmerdale Village Television Set Walking Tour for Two. A replica of the original village in Esholt (created because unrestricted access to tourists kept getting in the way of filming), the Harewood Estate near Eccup now contains all of the outside parts that bring Emmerdale to life. You’ll be able to soak in all of the picturesque beauty the village boasts from the church to the rows of stone cottages while your guide regales you with stories from the show’s filming, with plenty of anecdotes and behind-the-scenes secrets to keep you entertained between points of interest. There are only selected dates that the estate is opened to the public, so if you’re a fan you’d be mad to miss your chance at immersing yourself in the extraordinary and rural world of one of Britain’s best-loved soap operas. Hop on a coach from Leeds and whisk yourself to TV land – then take loads of pics so you can prove you were there!
